Job summary

Professional Services Group & Community Impact Programs in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist for the Day Treatment/IOP program. You will mentor adults with a history of substance use, promote recovery, and work within a multidisciplinary team to help clients reach personal goals.

The role requires Wisconsin certification or in-progress certification, a high school diploma, reliable daily transportation, and a valid driver’s license. Evening hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or in the process of being certified as a Wisconsin Peer Support Specialist.
• Must have a high school diploma / GED / equivalent.
• Must have reliable daily transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator for individuals in recovery.
• Develop peer-to-peer relationships and support individualized recovery goals.
• Participate as part of a recovery team and connect clients with community resources.
• Attend team meetings and provide information about recovery to clients.
