Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Home Health team in Florida. The RN will apply the nursing process and assume responsibility for delivering patient care under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key duties include assessing patient needs, documenting plans of care, and performing prioritized interventions. Competitive salary and flexible scheduling are offered to support quality home care in the community.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate as required by facility regulations.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray as required.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Document the patient’s plan of care using nursing diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Perform interventions according to priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies.
• Revise the plan of care according to evaluation and changes in medical plan.
• Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor.
• Other Registered Nurse duties as assigned.
