Job summary

The Lakes Home Care Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Florida home care team. You will support physical therapists by implementing treatment plans, helping clients regain movement, and monitoring progress in a home care setting.

Ideal candidates have experience in geriatrics/orthopedics or hospital settings and a solid understanding of physiology. You will educate patients and families on at-home routines while coordinating with other health professionals

Qualifications

• Experience in geriatrics, orthopedics, hospital settings or home care is preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices.
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
