Job summary

Break Time is seeking a Sales Associate to assist customers, process sales, and handle daily store duties to keep the Break Time convenience store clean and stocked during the shift.

You will greet customers, operate the POS, assist with merchandising and basic food prep, and support food safety tasks while following company policies. No experience required; training provided; must pass background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Flexible availability to work, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change, complete shift reports, and account for numbers of products during vendor check in.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Ability and willingness to attend adequate food safety training and obtain a Food Handler’s Card or equivalent certifications.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service and accurate transactions.
• Merchandising: pricing, promotions, stocking, and keeping merchandise clean and faced.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Work as a team to serve customers and comply with regulations.
• Operate POS and store technology to perform transactions and shift reports.
• Help train new employees on company policies and procedures; assist with loss control.
• Follow food safety guidelines and perform food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean store environment and adhere to safety standards.
