Job summary

RESA Power LLC in Cerritos, CA is seeking a Circuit Breaker Tech I to perform general maintenance on electric circuit breakers across a broad spectrum of manufacturers. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires hands-on dismantling, cleaning, repair, reassembly and calibration of breakers.

Responsibilities include basic electrical testing, documenting test results, and ensuring work meets OEM guidelines and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in overhauling and maintaining mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of circuit breakers used in low and medium voltage applications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on a broad spectrum of circuit breakers across manufacturers.
• Final electrical and mechanical tests may be required.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, reassemble and calibrate breakers.
• Conduct basic electrical testing to ensure proper operation per customer requirements; test and troubleshoot breakers and auxiliary devices.
• Prepare circuit breaker test sheets documenting conditions and results.
• Maintain strong client relationships and complete reports on time.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement to reduce turnaround times and optimize workflows.
• Communicate with PM/Manager for problem resolution and information transfer on ongoing jobs.
