Job summary

Harps Markets cashier position offers friendly customer service, accurate cash handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced grocery setting. You will greet customers, process transactions, bag orders, maintain clean aisles, and follow store policies to ensure safety and quality.

Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required, with a focus on delivering smiles and helpful service to every shopper. Minimum age 16, reliable attendance, physical ability to stand for long periods, and ability to lift

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Prefer previous experience operating a cash register, handling cash or other forms of tender, preferably in a grocery store or retail establishment but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to move, lift, carry and place merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Process Transactions quickly and accurately following company guidelines.
• Bag and handle items safely, separating ready-to-eat and other items as required.
