Harps is seeking a dedicated Cashier to deliver friendly, efficient service at the register and assist customers with their needs. You will bag orders, handle transactions accurately, and promote store services while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires attentiveness, integrity, and professionalism in daily interactions with customers and team members in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Experience operating a cash register or handling cash is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Process Transactions: handle purchases quickly and accurately using the register system while following company guidelines.
• Perform Proper Bagging Techniques: bag orders safely and bag raw meat/other items separately as needed.
• Provide Services: identify customer needs and inform them of store services and upcoming events.
• Problem Solving: define issues and use clear thinking to obtain answers.
• Safety/Quality Orientation: maintain high quality service while following safety procedures.
• Building Relationships: develop and foster positive customer rapport.
