Job summary

ilani is seeking a friendly bartender to provide world class guest service, take drink orders, and process payments at our busy restaurant bar. You will ensure accurate drink preparation and maintain bar standards while adhering to state liquor laws.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior bartending experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work varied shifts in a smoking environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Previous bartending experience in high-volume environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster a supportive team environment.
• Willingness to work varied shifts and flexible hours.
• Willingness to work in a smoking environment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes superior guest service.
• Maintains a positive organizational culture and core values.
• Interacting with guests to ensure a positive experience.
• Fills drink orders per recipes and standards.
• Uses POS terminal and handles cashiering functions.
• Applies knowledge of liquor laws including ID checks and refusal of service.
• Sets up and breaks down assigned bar per policies.
• Handles all payment methods.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in the work area.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
