Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA is seeking a Bartender to set up the bar, mix drinks for guests and servers, and maintain bar area cleanliness. The role includes cash handling, beverage preparation, courtesy service, and compliance with liquor laws.

This on-site position offers an hourly wage plus tips and requires flexibility with hours. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, is of legal drinking age, and can stand for long shifts while assisting in maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Medium work - can lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Process guests' checks and handle payments per standards.
• Open and close side work to ensure prompt service.
• Prepare beverages and cocktails with accuracy and presentation.
• Serve guests warmly and professionally for all F&B needs.
• Keep lounge areas clean and tidy.
• Familiarize yourself with the computer system.
• Carry out cashiering tasks and close checks.
• Follow state liquor laws and responsible service policies.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Stock and clean glassware; check soda tanks.
• Prepare garnishes and assist in cleaning tables.
