First Day Homecare, LLC is seeking a skilled LPN to provide nursing care under physician orders across multiple Michigan locations (Ada, Wyoming, Belmont, Kentwood, Alto). You will work under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, following client care plans and state regulations.

This role offers flexible scheduling, 1:1 patient care, and competitive benefits with paid sick time and weekly pay. Current LPN license in-state and CPR certification are required.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current LPN license in the operating state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Provides care in accordance with medical practitioner orders and the client’s care plan.
• Maintains orders for clients and documents all changes in orders in the medical record following Agency procedures.
• The scope of clinical practice includes personal care services, monitoring and reporting findings, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric services such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the client’s care team.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.
• Performs job in compliance with Agency policies, procedures, and applicable payor and accreditation standards.
• Participates in the coordination of care and attends Agency meetings as requested.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
