First Day Homecare is seeking a licensed practical nurse to perform skilled nursing functions under orders in Parchment, MI. You will provide care per Nurse Practice Act and under supervision of a medical practitioner.

Responsibilities include delivering care per the client plan, documenting changes, and coordinating with the care team. Pediatric services such as tracheostomy care and ventilator management may be needed; driving is required and we offer flexible scheduling and benefits.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current LPN license in Michigan.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Provides care in accordance with medical practitioner orders and the client’s care plan.
• Maintains orders for clients and documents all changes in orders in the medical record following Agency procedures.
• The scope of clinical practice includes personal care services, monitoring and reporting findings, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric services such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the client’s care team.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.
• Performs job in compliance with Agency policies, procedures, and applicable payor and accreditation standards.
• Participates in the coordination of care and attends Agency meetings as requested.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
