Job summary
OakMed Home Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to provide one-on-one, home-based PT services in West Michigan. You will work under a supervising Physical Therapist, delivering care to automobile accident and workers’ compensation patients.
The role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities to build a caseload near your home. Travel to patient homes is expected, with support to manage cases based on location and availability.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in Michigan.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently within PTA scope of practice and supervision requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy interventions under the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Carry out treatment activities per the plan of care.
- Monitor patient response and communicate changes to the PT.
- Document visits and patient progress accurately and timely.
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team.
