Job summary

Theracare Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in home health care, including Warsaw and possibly Columbia City. You will work with a team, applying diverse therapeutic procedures to restore strength and mobility, reduce pain, and improve function.

Flexible scheduling supports work/life balance, with opportunities across multiple settings. Applicants should hold a BS or higher in Physical Therapy, valid state licensure, and APTA certification board

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state license/certification.
• Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board.
• Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in various locations including SNFs, outpatient, LTC facilities or home health care.
• Demonstrate competency in applying therapy principles, methods and equipment.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist would evaluate and treat patients using therapeutic procedures to restore strength, coordination, body alignment, relieve pain and improve movement.
• Work as a member of a team providing support and information within Physical Therapy.
• Provide home health care services in Warsaw and possibly Columbia City.
