Job summary

Acute Home Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve patients in the Orlando area. You will provide occupational therapy services on the road across Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties, with a focus on home-based care and functional recovery.

Ideal candidates are licensed OT professionals with at least 2 years of home health experience, ready to work in a flexible schedule and travel locally.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in the state of practice.
• At least 2 years of home care experience.
• Level 2 Background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Improves or minimizes residual physical disabilities of the patient.
• Returns the individual to optimum and productive living within the patient's capabilities.
• Periodically participates with all other health care personnel in patient care planning.
• Provides prescribed occupational therapy.
• Takes initial history and makes initial evaluation.
• Writes reports to physicians regarding patient's progress.
• Instructs patients/family members in home programs and fine motor movement exercises.
