Job summary

Interim HealthCare provides Home Health Occupational Therapy services in Charlotte and surrounding areas. The OT will tailor therapy to each patient’s needs, promoting independence and safe home navigation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program and active NC OT license.
• Minimum 1 year OT experience, ideally in home health.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills; compassionate and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to patients unable to perform daily tasks.
• Collaborate with home health team to plan care and goals.
• Assess patient, set goals, and document progress.
• Assist with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination.
• Suggest adaptive equipment and home safety strategies.
• Educate patient and family on plan of care and self-care.
