Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Central MT is seeking Home Health Personal Care Assistants to support veterans, seniors and those with illness in home settings. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and collaborate with a team of nurses and aides to ensure the care plan is followed.

We offer a 1:1 caregiver-to-patient ratio, flexible scheduling, tuition assistance to obtain CNA license, and PTO with vision/dental for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months caregiving experience in home or facility.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid Montana driver's license with insurance and dependable transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Kindness, empathy, integrity, respect, patience and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Care for veterans, seniors and those with illness in their homes.
• Provide companionship and build meaningful relationships with people in need.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Work with nurses and aides to follow the care plan.
• Observe patients and report changes in care, meds or equipment.
