Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Central Montana seeks a Home Health Personal Care Assistant to care for veterans and seniors in their homes across Montana. You will provide companionship and help with daily activities while working with a team of nurses and aides to ensure individual care plans are followed.

The role offers flexible scheduling to fit your life, 1:1 caregiver-to-patient ratios, and opportunities such as tuition assistance to obtain CNA license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Six months in-home or facility caregiving experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid Montana driver’s license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Care for veterans, seniors and those with illness in patients’ homes.
• Provide companionship and build meaningful relationships in the community.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Collaborate with home health nurses and aides to follow care plans.
• Observe patient status and notify supervisor of needed changes.

Skills
