Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Redmond, OR is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care and support to seniors, helping with daily living activities and respite for families. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation while ensuring safety and dignity at all times.

We offer 1:1 aide-to-client ratios, the ability to set your own schedule, online training with CEUs, Rasmussen University tuition discounts, and a 401k with PTO benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Six (6) months of experience as a Caregiver.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
