Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support seniors in Bend, OR and surrounding areas. Join a family of caregivers dedicated to improving daily life through personal care and companionship.

You'll assist with activities of daily living, provide mobility support, and help with medication reminders while upholding safety and dignity in the home. Training, education benefits, and flexible scheduling are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum six months of caregiver experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helpful demeanor with strong communication; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
