Job summary

Vision Healthcare, LLC is a Virginia Department of Health-licensed home health agency serving Richmond, VA & surrounding areas. We are seeking caring Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our team and provide one-on-one non-medical care in clients' homes under RN supervision.

This W-2 employment offers full-time, part-time or PRN options, flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and opportunities for professional growth as you help clients maintain independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Virginia-approved PCA training or qualifying credential.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass required criminal background checks and other screenings.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, pushing, and pulling clients as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Provide medication reminders; no medication administration.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse.
• Complete electronic visit documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow each client's individualized Plan of Care and agency policies.
• Maintain client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
