Job summary

Addus Homecare is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides to support clients living independently at home in Las Vegas, NM. This on-call role requires 5 days per week with a weekend day and 40 hours weekly (20 hours guaranteed).

The Care Aide will follow care plans, assist with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication assistance, reporting changes as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation to perform home visits

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments by calling the office each morning
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Provide routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry
• Transport client to doctor appointments, grocery store, and errands
• Assist client with self-administration of medications
• Observe and report changes in client condition
