Job summary

Addus HomeCare is hiring Home Care Aides to support clients in the Metro Detroit and Downriver areas. Open and virtual interviews offered, with the Detroit Fisher Building as one office location.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship to help clients maintain independence at home. Requirements include being 18+, passing a background check, reliable transportation, legal work status in the U.S., and three references.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation: car or public transit.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Three references (2 professional, 1 personal) required at time of application.
• Must successfully complete pre-service Home Care Aide training.
• Must be reliable, courteous, honest, energetic, and caring.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming.
• Light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, meal prep, vacuuming, bed making.
• Provide companionship.
