Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) invites entry-level tutors to join our Hingham, MA learning center. You will conduct 1:1 sessions with high school students, focusing on grades 9-12, with sessions typically lasting 60–90 minutes.

We offer regular demand, a flexible schedule, and pay starting at $40+ per hour based on education, experience, and availability. No administrative tasks are required, as scheduling is handled for you.

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor’s degree.
• Expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students.
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps.
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA.
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes.
• 3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm during the week.
