Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis West is seeking Home Health Aides and Personal Care Assistants to provide in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities. You will help with daily activities, mobility, meals, and basic health monitoring in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Six months experience as an HHA/PCA in health care settings.
• Completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or HHA/PCA course.
• Competency Evaluation meeting state licensing requirements.
• Sympathetic attitude toward caring for the sick.
• English reading/writing/speaking as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and insured automobile or reliable transportation.
• CPR certificate is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and safety using devices (walker, cane, wheelchair).
• Assist with meals and meal planning within dietary needs.
• Take vital signs and monitor client condition as directed.
• Provide light housekeeping and household tasks as needed.
• Follow nurse instructions and care plans for each client.
