Job summary

Fordington Surgery in Dorchester is seeking a committed GP to join a well‑established, high‑performing practice with a collaborative team. You will manage a broad caseload, deliver high‑quality primary care, and support continuous improvement across the practice.

The role offers 4–8 clinical sessions weekly, supportive colleagues, and a clear potential path to a partnership with full backing for transition. Excellent patient satisfaction underpins the team’s approach.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
• Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate).
• General practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained.
• On medical performers list.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• UK driving licence.
• Current CPR certificate.
• UK work permit (if required).
• Medical defence union cover.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Chronic disease management.
• Primary prevention & screening services.
