Job summary

Slumberland Furniture in Thief River Falls, MN is hiring for Part-Time or Full-Time Warehouse & Delivery Associates. You will deliver furniture to customers, load and unload goods, and keep the warehouse and showroom organized and safe.

A valid driver\'s license, ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card, and willingness to pass a pre-employment drug screen are required. Starting pay is competitive with benefits including PTO, employee discounts, and eligibility for 401(k) after hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver\'s license with insurable driving record and be able to drive store truck.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card for operating company delivery trucks.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move 75+ pounds.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, or material handling experience helpful, but training provided.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Delivering furniture to customers\' homes with professionalism and care
• Safely operating company delivery vehicles, including daily vehicle inspections and mileage tracking
• Loading, unloading, receiving, and organizing merchandise in the warehouse
• Moving products throughout the warehouse and showroom using proper lifting techniques and powered equipment
• Assisting with showroom setup and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environment
• Helping with basic building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Providing friendly, respectful customer service during every delivery
