Qualifications

• Fluency in English plus at least one additional language.
• Minimum 1 year interpreting experience in medical, legal, education, community, corporate, etc.
• Strong punctuality, responsiveness, and professional communication.
• Reliably travel with transportation to cover assignments.
• Interpreter training or certification preferred but not required for all assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, professional on-site consecutive interpretation (and simultaneous when applicable).
• Arrive on time and follow client/site procedures for the full appointment duration.
• Confirm assignments promptly and communicate scheduling details with The Language Doctors.
• Adhere to professional codes of ethics, including impartiality and confidentiality.
• Complete onboarding steps and assignment documentation as required.
