Job summary

The Language Doctors, Inc. is expanding its on-site interpreter network in New Jersey and seeks experienced interpreters for in-person assignments across medical, legal, education, and corporate settings.

You will perform on-site consecutive interpretation, with simultaneous work when applicable, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Requirements include English fluency plus at least one additional language, a minimum of 1 year interpreting experience, reliability and

Qualifications

Fluent in English and at least one additional language (all languages encouraged).
Minimum 1 year of professional interpreting experience (medical, legal, education, community, corporate, etc.).
Reliable transportation and ability to travel within your coverage area.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate, professional on-site consecutive interpretation (and simultaneous when applicable).
Arrive on time and follow client/site procedures for the full appointment duration.
Confirm assignments promptly and communicate scheduling details and issues to The Language Doctors.
Adhere to professional codes of ethics, including impartiality and confidentiality.
Complete onboarding steps and assignment documentation as required.
