Job summary

Becker & Company seeks skilled Field Investigators for flexible, as-needed assignments in insurance claims, including workers' compensation, suspected fraud, and liability cases. The role targets licensed investigators comfortable with irregular hours and delivering high-quality results.

You will perform surveillance and SIU tasks across an assigned area, document findings, and prepare timely notes and reports for case managers, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid state issued driver's license.
• Possess a current private investigator license (if applicable).
• Must be dependable and able to meet deadlines.
• Must be a self-starter capable of working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to specific requirements of an assignment based on the case manager's instructions.
• Review all case materials prior to conducting investigative activity.
• Complete video surveillance and secure covert footage as directed.
• Conduct investigations such as securing recorded statements, scene inspections, activity checks and securing documents.
• Complete written notes on each case assignment promptly.
• Submit videotaped results, photographs, and recordings via e‑mail by the next business day.
• Meet deadlines set by the client and communicate progress regularly.
• Ensure confidentiality of all information obtained.
