Job summary

NASDA is hiring a detail-oriented, part-time Field Enumerator to support our agriculture nonprofit. The role offers a flexible schedule, the ability to work from home, and mileage reimbursement with a competitive wage of 17.75 per hour.

You will interview farmers and rural businesses, travel to designated fields for crop counts, and maintain thorough records of interviews, counts, mileage, and hours. A personal vehicle and reliable connectivity are required.

Qualifications

• Experience multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to positively represent NASDA to survey participants.
• Ability to perform crop counts in designated fields.
• Own or reliably have a personal vehicle.
• Ability to conduct interviews in person or by phone.
• Knowledge of computers or iPads.

Responsibilities

• Interview farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses in person or by phone.
• Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts.
• Maintain and deliver detailed records of interviews, counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
• Work from a residence with a telephone and a personal vehicle for travel.
• Enjoy a flexible, dynamic work environment.
