Job summary

NASDA is seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Field Enumerator. You will interview farmers and rural businesses via in-person or phone calls, perform crop counts in designated fields, and maintain meticulous records of interviews, mileage, and hours worked.

Qualifications

• Experience multitasking in a deadline-oriented work environment.
• Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.
• Ability to make crop counts in designated fields.
• Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle for field travel.
• Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and others.
• Knowledge about computers or iPads.

Responsibilities

• Interview farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses in person or by phone.
