Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services’ Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver functional rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities. You’ll evaluate, treat, and re-assess patients across real-life settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will work autonomously within a supportive team, with a flexible, self-designed schedule, paid hourly, including driving and mileage reimbursement, and clear growth opportunities in a national

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
• Current CPR Certification
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injury (preferred)
• Effective and professional communication in verbal and written form
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving or transferring patients up to 100 pounds as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes
