Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is hiring a Retail Merchandise Processor in Cincinnati, OH. You will join a fast-paced team to receive, sort, price, and prepare donated merchandise for display in our Goodwill stores.

Responsibilities include sorting donations, stocking shelves, recording donations, and providing exceptional customer service while adhering to safety standards. The role supports store operations with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to follow directions and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to donors/customers.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process incoming merchandise to determine eligibility for the sales floor.
• Roll merchandise and stock on sales floor.
• Accurately record and monitor donations.
• Stay abreast of brand names and styles.
• Sort apparel into categories (boutique/Ecommerce, sellable, salvage).
• Place items on hangers and transport to the sales floor.
• Meet daily quota for pieces processed.
• Price and roll merchandise to appropriate sales floor areas.
• Follow safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Provide friendly and engaging customer service.
• Participate in store meetings and trainings.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and uniform standards.
