Alianza in Matthews, NC is seeking dependable Event Setup & Breakdown Crew Members for flexible, event-based work. You will prepare spaces before events and break them down afterward, with shifts that vary by schedule.

This role offers mornings setup and potential evening breakdown, plus the chance to work weekends, holidays, and other event-driven times. The position is not guaranteed to be weekly and requires physical activity; teamwork and reliability are essential as you support event teams

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces according to provided instructions and event requirements.
• Arrange and move tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment.
• Assist with placing event décor and event materials.
• Load and unload event supplies and equipment.
• Move equipment to designated event or storage areas.
• Assist with staging and preparation of event spaces.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Break down tables, chairs, décor, equipment, and other materials after events.
• Return equipment and supplies to designated storage areas.
• Properly stack, organize, and secure event equipment.
• Remove event-related materials and assist with general cleanup.
• Follow instructions from event supervisors and crew leads.
• Work efficiently with other crew members to complete setup and breakdown within required timeframes.
• Report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and event-site requirements.
