Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG, is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist for a premier regional facility in Mattoon, Illinois. The role offers a highly flexible schedule—roughly 3 focused days per week or alternating week-on/week-off—and a base compensation of $320,000 plus production bonuses.

The ideal candidate is BC/BE in Endocrinology, with an IL license or eligibility, and will manage outpatient diabetes, thyroid, pituitary/adrenal, and bone disorders, collaborating with a physician and APP.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Residency in Internal Medicine with Endocrinology Fellowship.
• BC/BE in Endocrinology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligibility).
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong communication and leadership in a physician/APP team.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services for endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders.
• Manage a robust patient panel focusing on diabetes, thyroid, pituitary/adrenal, and bone disorders.
• Collaborate with the on-site physician and APP to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records for consultations and follow-up.
• Structure a flexible schedule with ~3 days/week or week-on/week-off arrangements.
