Job summary

Sub Teacher Source is seeking elementary substitute teachers to support partner schools in western Wayne County, including Garden City, Westland, Inkster, Redford and Dearborn Heights. You’ll cover PreK through 3rd grade, keeping learning on track when teachers are out, with a schedule you control.

We offer weekly pay, a flexible schedule, and a $50 referral bonus for every friend you refer who completes 5 working days.

Qualifications

• At least 60 college credit hours with official transcripts.
• Original Social Security card and a valid photo ID.
• Pass a Michigan Livescan fingerprint background check (fee of about $70, paid by the candidate).
• Reliable transportation.
• Patience, warmth and a love for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Fill in PreK–3 classrooms when teachers are out.
• Keep learning on track and maintain classroom routines.
• Support instruction and student engagement.
