Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks Child Development Specialists to support infants, toddlers and their families in home-based early intervention services.

Sunny Days specializes in early intervention with multidisciplinary programs across California, offering occupational, physical, and speech therapy, and child development services. We are looking to grow our team of specialists in your area.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in child development/early childhood or related field, or a special education credential.
• Early Intervention Experience preferred.
• Home-Based Service Delivery Experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide child development services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and collaborate with families to set developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (home, daycare, community settings).
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
