Job summary

Upbring is seeking an Early Head Start Center Floater in Corpus Christi, TX. The role supports classrooms, assists teachers with daily activities, and ensures child safety and engagement in a nurturing learning environment.

The position involves assisting with meals, hygiene routines, and classroom management across multiple age groups while adhering to Head Start standards and program procedures. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• If enrolled in a CDA or degree program, related early childhood coursework within two years may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily lesson plans and activities.
• Ensure safety and supervision of children in classrooms, playgrounds, and common areas.
• Provide support across multiple classrooms as needed and during staff absences.
• Assist with meal service and hygiene routines.
• Support social-emotional development and positive interactions with children, staff, and families.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment and learning materials.
