Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college credits preferred.
• Experience working with young children.
• Ability to work with children and families with diverse needs.
• Ability to interpret safety regulations and policies.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with staff and participants.

Responsabilités

• Assist in maintaining a safe, sanitary classroom per Head Start and DOHMH.
• Support planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate activities.
• Work cooperatively with Lead Teacher to meet children’s goals.
• Maintain confidentiality of family records and communications.
• Notify Lead Teacher of health or behavior concerns.
• Participate in training and meetings as assigned.
• Help with kitchen coverage and health requirements.
• Flexible schedule to cover staff as needed.
