Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one following each person's ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

The role offers flexible hours with local NJ cases and a pay range of $18–$24 per hour. Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required, with CPR/First Aid certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Prior caregiving or human services experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
