Job summary

AHL Healthcare Group is seeking Direct Support Professionals to advocate, educate, and care for individuals with disabilities or mental illness in Minnesota. DSPs help residents live in the least-restrictive environments and lead fulfilling lives in their homes while staying safe and well cared-for.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years or older.
• Pass MN DHS Background Study.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with the clients and coworkers.
• Medication administration, documenting on the services provided daily in the electronic records and computer system.
• Socializing with residents getting them to enjoy playing games, watching movies, shopping, going for walks, bonfires, or fishing.
• Going to appointments and outings with clients and having fun!
