Job summary

Abound Health is hiring a female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual in Newfoundland, PA. The CPS role requires driving and offers flexible schedules with weekly pay and paid training.

You will help the individual stay active, participate in community activities, and build trust. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement exist within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Experience with disabilities not required; paid training provided.
• Comfortable supporting shy individuals and building rapport.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to community outings (shopping, movies, church, etc.).
• Encourage social engagement and participation in preferred activities.
• Build rapport and trust with a shy individual who warms up gradually.
• Support her in navigating community environments safely.
• Promote independence and confidence during outings.
• Communicate with Abound team members and group home staff.
• Complete documentation and participate in ongoing training.
