Job summary

Help at Home in Evansville, IN is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community, helping them live as independently as possible. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.
• Help with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Document care, activities, and progress accurately.
• Communicate with team members to ensure consistent, quality support.
