Job summary

ASG Home Care of New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one following each person's ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living tasks, transportation, documentation, and building meaningful relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience is preferred.
• Strong empathy and communication skills are important.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation per ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with individuals supported.
