Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. You will provide hands-on support to promote independence and community participation, following each person's ISP and working one-on-one in home and community settings.

The role offers flexible scheduling, local cases, and a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
