Job summary

Aurora Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Caregiver) in Eau Claire for part-time or full-time hours. You will support adults with cognitive and mental health disabilities in residential settings, with paid training and the opportunity for advancement.

Flexible scheduling, no experience required for caregivers, and an employee-owned environment help you grow with the team while making a meaningful difference in daily living and independence.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for transporting clients.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Basic English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support with community/social integration.
• Assist with planning and preparing activities and outings.
• Help with self-care tasks (dressing, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting).
• Medication administration.
• Meal preparation/planning.
• Transport clients to activities.
• Follow individual service plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
