Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have experience performing bedside or complete PFTs and understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration.
• Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology.
• Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius).
• Not required but desired bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Available two to five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device.
• Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy.
• Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review.
• Monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols.
• Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site.
