Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple spirometry testing at primary care clinics in the Richmond and Norfolk, Virginia areas. Join a fast-growing healthcare startup delivering care directly in clinics.

Responsibilities include bedside spirometry, patient education, albuterol administration when needed, and data submission for pulmonologist review, with a supportive, independent role and competitive

Qualifications

• Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration.
• Comfortable commuting to clinics throughout a region.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing at local primary care clinics.
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients during testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review; maintain testing equipment.
• Follow quality and safety standards in testing and equipment maintenance.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams, representing Crosswalk Health with professionalism.
