Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking daytime caregivers to provide non-medical homemaker and companion services in clients' homes. You will promote safety, independence, and quality of life while adhering to client care plans and state regulations.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with personal care, mobility support, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands. Requirements include relevant certifications, background checks, and legal work status in the United

Qualifications

• Caregiver must have HHA, CNA, PCA, or PCT certification.
• Must pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle driving record check.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time; maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, professional attitude.
• Pre-employment drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes in condition.
• Provide safety oversight.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Support safe mobility (Hoyer lift experience preferred).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Escort clients to appointments, errands, or community activities.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization.
• Meal planning and preparation per dietary needs.
• Grocery shopping and errands.
• Perform other duties as assigned within agency scope.
