Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking DSPs / Community Support Workers to join the team in Erie County, PA. This position involves one-on-one support for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them reach goals in home and community settings.

We offer paid trainings, orientation, and flexible daytime shifts, primarily Monday through Friday. Locations include Erie, Fairview, Lake City, Girard, Waterford, Edinboro, and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community activities

Responsibilities

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Support the client’s goals towards independence in the home and community
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization
